Offering Who You Are

I saw this on Instagram recently and was so motivated and convicted by it that I’m pretty sure a literal light bulb came on over my head. I often struggle with taking care of myself, but this makes sense. I’ve decided I’m going to put this into practice this week. Will you do the same? Will you also be intentional to take care of yourself this week so you can offer who you are from a place of strength rather than exhaustion? If so, let me know. I’d like to hear from you!

  1. I have Fibromyalgia which adds to my depression.i am learning to pAce myself so I don’t get exhausted and have more pain physically. If my day is very busy I give myself permission to rest the next day. Then I resume my activities the next day I walk my dog 4 times a week, actually he walks me. I read The Bible and other Christian devotional sand pray most days. I call a friend who understands if I am having a bad day and first pray and ask God for his perspective, endurance, faith and His unconditional love as this is my thorn in the flesh. He has told me many times that His Grace is sufficient. I am also blessed to have a Christian therapist to go too. I also brush my teeth and Daily hygiene daily. It keeps me in a routine on those bad days.
